The captain of the Pakistan team even though didn’t fired as much in the LPL 2023, still the Pakistani skipper ended as the highest runs scorer of the LPL 2023 after the group stage matches.
Babar Azam’s team Colombo Strikers failed to qualify for the PLAYOFFS stage of the tournament and that’s why the tournament ends for Babar Azam as well after the group stage matches of the tournament.
The Pakistani skipper played 8 matches in the tournament for the Strikers, he played 8 innings as well and scored 261 runs in the tournament at an average of 32.6, which is below par as per his standards in T20 cricket.

The captain of the Pakistan team scored two scores of 50+ in the Lanka Premier League 2023 for Colombo Strikers. His team Colombo Strikers won three matches in the tournament and Babar Azam scored fifty+ score in two out of those three matches. Babar Azam was also adjusted as the Player of the Match in two out of three wins for the Colombo Strikers.

For any other player, to end as the highest runs scorer in a league is an achievement in its own but these stats doesn’t seems to be much impressive because of the standard set by Babar Azam and that’s why these 261 runs in 8 innings aren’t good enough and you might start to think about the form of Babar Azam.
The two major tournaments are approaching for the Pakistan team, i.e. Asia Cup 2023, and World Cup 2023. The Pakistani skipper will be hoping that he comes good with the bat in both the tournaments and lead his team to victory in the upcoming tournaments.
