Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman, Muhammad Rizwan travels to Canada from Srilanka overnight and scores a fifty for Vancouver Knights in his first match of the GT20 League 2023 season.

Muhammad Rizwan scores an unbeaten half-century for Vancouver Knights in the 2023 GT20 League and leads his team in the run chase along with Corbin Bose, who also scored a half-century in the run chase for the Knights.

The Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman, Muhammad Rizwan was with the Pakistan team in their recent test series win against Srilanka on Thursday, he took a flight to Canada the next day and featured in the match against Brampton Wolves in the GT20 League.

Fakhar Zaman who also played for Vancouver Knights in the GT20 League scored 21 runs in just 20 deliveries, he smashed two fours and one six in his short stay at the crease before Muhammad Rizwan and Corbin Bosh comfortably chased down the target of 130 runs with 17 balls to spare.

Corbin Bosh also played an excellent innings as he also scored a brilliant half-century in 41 deliveries, he smashed five fours and one six in his innings during the run chase and made an excellent partnership with Muhammad Rizwan and helped Vancouver Knights to win the match by 9 wickets.

Muhammad Rizwan was substituted in the Pakistan test side on Thursday as the former Pakistani captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed who was hit on the helmet, was retired hurt in the second test match against Srilanka, and Muhammad Rizwan was drafted in as a concussion sub.
