HAIDER ALI SCORES ANOTHER FIFTY, ZAMAN KHAN BOWLED WELL AGAINST SHAN MASOOD’S YORKSHIRE

HAIDER ALI & ZAMAN KHAN PERFORMANCE:

Haider Ali has once again shown great promise for his team in the Vitality Blast 2023, he has been always there for Derbyshire whenever they seem to be struggling. He has been a savior for his team as he scored a brilliant cameo of 26 runs off 13 balls and scored a boundary on the last ball to help Derbyshire level the match, he again comes in today and plays a great knock to pull his team out of trouble.

 In his match last night, Haider Ali scored another brilliant fifty of the season for the Derbyshire team against the Yorkshire team, he showed his range of shots again, and with his aggressive knock, he helped his team to reach a par total at the end this knock helped his team to win the match by a huge margin.

Haider Ali walked out to bat in the middle when his team was struggling at 49/3, he came in and scored an impressive knock of 59 runs that too at a strike rate of 144, he smashed three fours and three huge sixes in his knock against Yorkshire.

In the match, Derbyshire batted first and lost some wickets at the start of the game but then there was a good partnership between Haider Ali and his captain du Ploy who was the highest run scorer for the team who came at the end, and scored a brilliant 66 of just 32 balls, in his knock he smashed four fours and five huge sixes to get his team from the hole with Haider Ali, both players scored a fifty in the win against Yorkshire.

• HAIDER ALI HAS PLAYED 10 GAMES IN THE TOURNAMENT FOR DERBYSHIRE, HE HAS SCORED 300+ RUNS IN THE TOURNAMENT AT AN AVERAGE OF AROUND 35, AND WITH A BRILLIANT STRIKE RATE OF 135 – HE HAS SCORED TWO FIFTIES IN THE TOURNAMENT.

The right-hander from Pakistan, Haider Ali scored a knock of 59 runs for his team in the match last night and was the second-highest run scorer of the match for his team – his knock of 59 runs of just 41 balls helped his team to post a total of 212 runs.

Yorkshire in the chase of 213 runs was never in control as they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals, the whole Yorkshire team lost the plot and they lost all of their 10 wickets in quick succession, Yorkshire couldn’t even score 100 runs as a total and Yorkshire faced another defeat under the captaincy of Shan Masood.

The left-arm Pakistani batsman, Shan Masood came in at #4 in a chase of 200+ but failed to create any impact – he has been a huge failure in the Vitality Blast 2023 tournament for Yorkshire, once again he just scored 13 runs off 8 balls with one four which unfortunately wasn’t enough to win the match while chasing 213 runs.

• SHAN MASOOD HAS PLAYED 10 MATCHES IN THE VITALITY BLAST BUT COULDN’T SCORE RUNS AS HE HAS A TOTAL AGGREGATE OF 130 RUNS IN THE T20 BLAST SO FAR AT AN AVERAGE OF 16 RUNS, WHICH HAPPENS TO BE A BELOW-PAR TOURNAMENT.

Zaman Khan, the right-arm pacer from Pakistan couldn’t even complete his quota of 4 overs as the rain came and the match was decided by the DLS method – the Pakistani pacer bowled 1.3 overs in the rain-hit game and picked up one wicket in his second over before the rain came and the game was stopped.

Zaman Khan just gave away 7 runs in his first over of the game, he came back and picked up a wicket as well in the next over. He ended the match with figures of 1/12 in 1.3 overs, and the game was won by Derbyshire comprehensively.
