READY TO PLAY FOR PAKISTAN AND AT ANY POSITION – OMAIR BIN YOUSAF AIMS TO GIVE PERFORMANCES LIKE BABAR AZAM

OMAIR BIN YOUSAF AIMS TO GIVE PERFORMANCES LIKE BABAR AZAM:

The young batting talent of Pakistan, Omair Bin Yousaf, recently gained huge attention when he scored tons of runs for Pakistan Shaheens during his recent tour to Zimbabwe and everyone is now talking about him because of his recent performances.

The young Pakistani batsman was the top runs scorer for the Pakistan Shaheens in the unofficial TEST series against the Zimbabwe A team and then continued to pile runs against the Zimbabwe Select team – Omair Bin Yousaf scored a total of around 350 runs in the TEST series which also includes a top score of 250 not out to win the match for his team.

Omair Bin Yousaf in his latest interview with Pak Passion, he has expressed his desire to play for the National Pakistan Team as he has been performing with the bat for a long time in domestic cricket and he is determined that he is ready to play for Pakistan in all formats of the game.

‘’ I am ready to go in TESTS because of my experience and technical skills and I am ready to perform if I am asked to play TESTS soon for Pakistan. I have all it takes to play for the Pakistan team, mentally or skill-wise, not just TESTS I am ready to play in all formats for Pakistan ‘’, he added.

Omair Bin Yousaf also knows the problem of desired number in the National Team which is not available sometimes as per your performances but he is still confident enough to perform at any position and shows confidence that he is ready to play at any batting position for the Pakistan team.

‘’ I love batting and it really doesn’t matter which batting position I play in as I have batted in different positions throughout my career and that’s why I am ready to bat at any position ‘’, he further added.

The young batting talent of Pakistan, Omair Bin Yousaf has been recently called up for the camps of the Pakistan team, he has been one of the 14 batters that are included in the training camps, these camps are organized to facilitate selectors to pick the best team for the TEST SERIES against SRILANKA next month. Omair Bin Yousaf is determined to perform for the National Pakistan Team and is hopeful that he will be included in the main squad on the back of his strong performances.

‘’ This is the first time I have been called up for the Pakistan camp which is organized to prepare for international cricket, so I am very pleased and excited about it. My main aim is to go out there, improve my skill set and perform against some of the best high-performing international players under the guidance of top coaches as well ‘’, he added.

Omair Bin Yousaf also talks about the importance of camps like these for young players as this can help them to improve their deficiencies and is very important for the development of a player because you get to discuss your flaws with some top-level coaches.

‘’ These types of camps are very essential for young players if one wishes to play at the highest level. I am looking forward to improving my footwork against fast bowlers and also getting to move my feet quicker against spinners. I will be open to any other suggestions for the experienced coaches in the camp ‘’, he further added.

Like many other young batters, Omair Bin Yousaf is another addition to the list of players who admire the National Captain Babar Azam. The right-handed batsman names Babar Azam as his idol and says that he loves the ability of Babar Azam to stay at the crease and score match-winning knocks as he wants to replicate the same performances throughout his career as well.

‘’ I highly rate both players as both Shoaib Malik and Babar Azam are great players. They have dominated bowlers around the world for many years and Babar Azam continues to do that even today he is in the top 5 rankings which is a great achievement ‘’, he added.

‘’ What I love about Babar Azam is the way he stays on the wicket to score big and convert the fifties to centuries, which is exactly what I would like to do in my career ‘’, he further added.

In his latest interview with Pak Passion, the right-handed batter names Babar Azam, whom he admires but also shares his views about Shoaib Malik and the qualities of Shoaib Malik, he wants to emulate in international cricket.

‘’ The ability of Babar Azam to play against fast bowlers and the way Shoaib Malik uses his feet against spinners are the qualities that I admire and want to emulate as well ‘’, he concluded.
