OMAIR BIN YOUSAF SHINES:

Pakistan’s Shaheen toured Zimbabwe for a 2-match unofficial TEST series as well as a 6-match unofficial ODI series against the Zimbabwe Select team.

Pakistan Shaheen’s tour to Zimbabwe was scheduled to give that exposure to the youngsters of Pakistan and was a chance for everyone who was selected to showcase his talent in front of the world.

A player that made the headlines every time he played for the Pakistan Shaheens, he has a very strong domestic reputation for Pakistan and has a very good record for his team in domestic cricket.

Omar Bin Yousaf grabbed this opportunity with both hands and scored in almost every inning he played for Pakistan Shaheens and showed everyone his talent on the back of some strong performances for his team.

TEST MATCHES:

In the first TEST match, Omar Bin Yousaf played the inning of his life when he scored an unbeaten 250 not-out for the Pakistan Shaheens in the first unofficial TEST match and was also good in the second innings where he held his nerves and guided Pakistan to an 8-wicket win over the Zimbabwe A team.

In the second TEST match, Omar Bin Yousaf again impressed as he scored another fifty during the innings of Pakistan and Pakistan again thrashed Zimbabwe A with a huge margin.

ODI MATCHES:

Even though, Omair Bin Yousaf performed brilliantly in the unofficial TEST series against the Zimbabwe A team but still Omair was not included in the playing XI of the first two ODI matches against the Zimbabwe Select, but again when he got the opportunity he made that count as well.

In the fourth match of the ODI series against the Zimbabwe Select, Omair Bin Yousaf outclassed everyone as he scored a brilliant century, an exceptional knock of 153 runs but unfortunately, Pakistan couldn’t win the match.

In the fifth match of the ODI series, Omair Bin Yousaf scored another inning of an unbeaten 89 runs, missed his century but helped Pakistan to win the match against the Zimbabwe Select.

In the sixth match of the ODI series, Omair couldn’t make much of an impact as he was dismissed early but in the whole series, he showed his batting class and his talent to the world.

OVERALL PERFORMANCES:

THE YOUNG TOP-ORDER BATSMAN, OMAIR BIN YOUSAF SCORED A TOTAL OF 600+ RUNS IN ALL THE MATCHES HE PLAYED FOR PAKISTAN IN THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED TEST AS WELL AS THE ODI SERIES FOR PAKISTAN SHAHEENS WITH AN IMPRESSIVE AVERAGE OF AROUND 90 – OMAIR BIN YOUSAF SCORED TWO CENTURIES AND TWO FIFTIES IN ALL THE INNINGS HE HAS PLAYED WITH A TOP SCORE OF 250 NOT-OUT FOR PAKISTAN SHAHEENS.

A KNOCK OF 250 RUNS IN TESTS, FOLLOWED BY AN EXCEPTIONAL INNINGS OF 150+ IN ODI CRICKET WHERE HE SHOWED HIS RANGE OF SHOTS WHEN HE CHANGED HIS GEARS FROM COMPLETING HIS 100 TO 150 AT SUCH RAPID PACE.
