Pakistan Reclaims NO.1 Spot In ICC ODI Rankings:
Pakistan is now the new #1 ranked ODI side in the ICC ODI Rankings after their 3-0 victory over Afghanistan.
In the ICC ODI Rankings, Pakistan was just two points behind the Australian Team before the Afghanistan series and needed to whitewash Afghanistan to claim the top ODI spot.
As Pakistan completed a 3-0 win over Afghanistan, Pakistan is now the top-ranked ODI team in international cricket, one more point than Australia in the ICC Rankings.
This is the second time, Pakistan is now the top-ranked ODI team under the captaincy of Babar Azam. They were also ranked #1 in the ICC Rankings after winning the first four matches against New Zealand but couldn’t hold on to the top spot after losing the last match of the series.
Pakistan has now reclaimed the ICC’s top ODI ranking, and Pakistan is now the #1 ODI team, under the captaincy of the #1 ODI batsman, Babar Azam.
At the top spot, Pakistan now has 119 rating points in the ICC ODI Rankings, second on the list is Australia, with 118 rating points, followed by India with 113 rating points.
The other ODI teams such as New Zealand, England, and South Africa are placed at the fourth, fifth, and sixth spots in the ICC ODI Rankings.

Pakistan will now participate in the Asia Cup 2023 as the top-ranked ODI team in the ICC Rankings. Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled to be played from 30 AUGUST – 17 SEPTEMBER, 2023.
